Ever since William was born, he has always felt that he was put on this planet to do something different, something special, something to try and make a positive change in this world. William is a photographer, a spiritual healer, an occasional medium, a businessman and now a writer. It has been 20 years since William first channelled the concept of Shepherd and Dawse and it has taken him all that time to put the theory into a book that is not only fun to read but is written in such a way that the reader can take from it exactly what they want. Although William was born in Gosport, England, he moved to his beloved Wales at a young age and decided to stay there, where he currently lives with his longtime sweetheart and wife, Anna.

Anna was born in Evansville, Indiana. She studied at Harlaxton College near Grantham, England, and later graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in Communications and Journalism. Anna has since worked in all facets of media – from copywriting to newspaper editing, even sales.

When Anna experienced a spiritual awakening in 2011, she began a trek to find her inner Truth. This journey involved letting go of every single animal, person, place and thing she ever held dear. And then, it led her to Wales and the chance to work with William to bring The Game of Shepherd and Dawse to fruition. And for this, her soul is forever grateful. 🦋

"I absolutely loved this book. Very thought provoking. It made me smile, laugh sometimes feel sad. I resonated with it completely. Very well and cleverly written. Very spiritual but a lot if truth about how the world is today and how we all need to learn to live ourselves for a better more peaceful world. Cannot wait for the next book."

"Wow. What a great read. My only complaint is that there was not more of it. This really is one of those books where you just keep thinking "just one more page and then I'll get on" Can't wait for the next book from this Author."

"What a great book. This is one of those books that stays with you for days, weeks and months after you've read it. Like the main character in the book, I also looked forward to hearing the adventures of Shepherd Wood. Now I can't wait to read it to my boys. They need to know which side of the game they are on: Shepherd or Dawse."

"Talk about a roller coaster ride. This book had many stories happening at the same time but they were all related. I spent late nights reading this book because I couldn't put it down. Tales of the past were to a young boy by an elderly gentleman. This book is spiritual and mystical. The folklore of the past meets the present time in a wonderful rollercoaster of a ride. Looking forward to more from this couple of writers!!!"

"I enjoyed the Game of Shepherd and Dawse so much I couldn't put it down! Not only is it insightful and thought provoking, the enjoyable story telling is a great way of explaining what could be a complicated philosophical notion, in a very readable and relatable way."

"The Game of Shepherd and Dawse is a thought-provoking fable of good and evil in our world. Each of us can find parallels in our lives, based on Aman, Nettie, Juju and the other characters of Shepherd Wood. A fun read which leaves you thinking about the characters and the book’s premise long after the last page."

"This is a modern fable about the origins of good and evil in our world. The story within a story really draws the reader in and keeps one captivated. There are unexpected twists and connections between the stories. A thoroughly enjoyable read."

"What an amazing book. It's well written, will have you hooked from the minute you start reading it. It goes into a lot of detail & not only is it a great read but it gives you lots of insight & much more to ponder over too. The only problem you'll find with this book is that you won't want to put it down until it's finished!"

“This book is very cleverly written, describing several complex issues, including rape, death, bullying and the very nature of what it means to be human, all in a shining new way. As a teacher, bullying is important to me. I am hopeful to use this book in my classroom, as I have several ‘Nettie’s’ in my charge and far too few ‘Charlie’s’. I especially like how the book illustrates that bullying can be overt (school boys taunting and tripping Nettie) or more covert and insidious (Sally Sour.) And what a magical place Shepherd Wood is–also a shining example to us of how we all could live in harmony with each other and nature–definitely a direction the world is headed.”

“Starting with the tale of an enchanted woodland the authors great skill sets an atmospheric scene of a secret utopia magically bathed with light of love and nature which becomes confronted with the darkness of evil and greed.A compelling collection of tales set throughout time ,written with simplicity and warm humour. I was captivated by the unfolding of the stories the charming characters all connected in the unfolding of an even bigger picture . I really enjoyed reading this book .”

“This is honestly the best book I’ve read in a long time. Simple to understand, yet so profound. The Game of Shepherd & Dawse explores the motivation behind people’s actions and behaviors, what makes them the way they are. There most definitely are good and evil forces at work in our world today. This book illustrates how these forces play out through real life situations and characters who are easy to identify with. I highly recommend it.”
